All Teeth Missing

Benefits of a fixed bridge on implants
In situations where most or all the remaining teeth are lost in an arch, a fixed bridge anchored to dental implants may be the best permanent solution.
Before the development of dental implants, people were forced to wear dentures. Today Dr. Ernest Cholakis routinely replaces a full jaw with dental implants and a fixed bridge that results in a permanent, stable and natural looking result.
Treatment:
Treatments vary from patient to patient, however Dr. Cholakis advises that patient visits are largely dependent on the specific conditions. His patients report that they were much more comfortable following the procedure than having their teeth extracted in the first place.
COURSE OF TREATMENT
Installing The Fixed Bridge | Step-By-Step
In this example the course of treatment illustrated here is one of several options available.

1: Before the procedure
Case preparation is the key to treatment success. Dr, Cholakis firmly believes that thoroughness and getting to know the patient is critical to the success of any treatment. A thorough examination that includes a medical and dental history is the first step. Reviewing options and alternatives is the second step. In this manner Dr. Cholakis can prepares both himself and you the patient for the coming treatment procedure.

2: Placing the implants
Next the dental implants are inserted to replace the lost root tips. In this illustration, five implants are used. Temporary teeth are made that enable our patients to eat and function like normal while waiting for the permanent bridge to be fabricated.

3: Cementing the bridge
The permanent bridge is seated over the implants. With a full jaw reconstruction as illustrated in this example, it generally takes 2-3 appointments to complete the case.

4: Finished result
Besides feeling great these new teeth are almost impossible to tell from real teeth. Denture wearers switching to fix bridges often call the experience transformational.
